How Marketplace Listings Work

The short version

Relics of War shows current listings from the dealers and auction houses in the ArtifactSearch marketplace, organized by war and category. We are not the seller. Every listing links to its page on ArtifactSearch.com and from there to the dealer or auction house that offers it. Your purchase, payment, shipping, and any guarantee are between you and that seller.

Where listings come from

ArtifactSearch collects listings from participating United States dealers and auction houses — read How Dealer Data Is Collected. Relics of War receives a nightly, read-only copy of the public catalog and rebuilds its pages from it. A listing you see here appeared on ArtifactSearch first and will disappear here when it disappears there.

Prices shown

The price on a card is the seller's asking price, or the auction estimate, exactly as the seller published it. When a seller lists no price, the card says so. Asking prices are never used in the price guide, which is built only from recorded sales.

Photos

Photographs belong to the seller and are shown as they published them. Relics of War resizes them for fast loading and does not alter their content.

Sold and expired listings

When a listing sells or is withdrawn, it is removed from Relics of War on the next nightly rebuild. Sold results published by the seller feed the price guide.

What Relics of War does not do

We do not authenticate, appraise, grade, hold funds, mediate disputes, or guarantee any listing. Our identification guides exist to help you ask better questions of a seller — not to substitute for the seller's own guarantee.
